The deputy collector (DRO) incharge of the flying squad team, North Goa district, has directed the concerned persons to immediately stop the work of hill cutting which is carried out in the property bearing survey number 293/0 and 295/1 and also dumping of mud in survey number 303/0 of Mayem village in violation of Section 17-A of the TCP Act. The deputy collector has further asked the concerned persons to explain as to why action should not be taken for restoration of the said land, within three days from receipt of the order.

The deputy collector has also directed the concerned persons to immediately stop the work of hill cutting which is carried out in the property bearing survey number 28/0 of Chimbel village in violation of Section 17-A of the TCP Act.

The order also states that if the concerned persons fail to produce the required documents, it will be presumed that he/ she is not in possession of the same and the Town and Country Planning Department will take action towards the restoration of the said land in question and further needful action as deemed fit.
