Based on a complaint by Chimbel Panch Rosy Uttikuri, a case under Goa Children’s Act has been registered against another Chimbel Panch Mohan Narve and his son for allegedly assaulting Uttikuri’s minor son.
Old Goa Police informed that Panch Uttikuri had complained that Narve and his son had assaulted her minor son, when he had gone near Narve’s residence, due to which her son had to be hospitalised for a couple of days.
“A case under Section 324 read with 34 of IPC and Section 8 of Goa Children’s Act has been registered against the father-son duo,” the police informed.
The police also informed that Panch Narve has filed a counter-complaint against Rosy’s son that he has been roaming around their house on a regular basis and does not listen even when he is told not to do so.
Old Goa PSI Sagun Sawant is investigating the case.
When contacted, Panch Narve informed that Rosy’s son regularly goes near his house and teases his daughter. “I had warned him many times earlier but he did not listen,” Narve said and added that this time he was caught red-handed, due to which he and his son assaulted him.
However, Rosy countered the allegations by stating that her son was going to his friend’s place which is close to Narve’s residence. “Narve is trying to fabricate claims,” she alleged and demanded strict police action against him.
